David Harbour, known for his role in Stranger Things, recently revealed a heartwarming encounter involving his stepdaughter and Taylor Swift. During an episode of the podcast Happy Sad Confused, Harbour recounted taking his stepdaughter, Ethel, and her sister, Marnie, to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in Minneapolis.
Harbour expressed his desire to say hello to Taylor Swift if the opportunity arose, but he was also mindful of the difficulties that can come with meeting celebrities. He mentioned that Taylor Swift was scheduled to leave on a plane right after the concert. However, to their surprise, a woman approached them during the show with a handwritten letter addressed to Harbour and his stepdaughter.
The letter, written on special stationery, left Ethel speechless. In addition to the letter, Taylor Swift gave them a special shoutout during the performance, promising to wave at them from the stage. Harbour described his daughter’s reaction as pure joy.
Having experienced the magic of Taylor Swift’s performance firsthand, Harbour became a self-proclaimed Swiftie. He praised her as a force of nature, noting her incredible stage presence and stamina throughout the three-and-a-half-hour show.
Securing tickets to the concert was no easy task for Harbour, who had to call in several favors. Despite being a beloved character on Stranger Things, he admitted that getting tickets to see Taylor Swift required extra effort. Nevertheless, the experience was extraordinary for him.
Harbour is not the only celebrity who has attended Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour. The star-studded list of attendees includes many other notable figures.
