Netflix has released the trailer for the upcoming installment of Love Is Blind: After the Altar, showcasing dramatic reunions between the season four couples and their exes. The special episode catches up with the married couples and explores the aftermath of their relationships.
In the trailer, which premiered on August 22, all the season four cast members, known as the Pod Squad, come together once again. The three couples who exchanged vows – Brett Brown and Tiffany Pennywell Brown, Kwame Appiah and Chelsea Griffin, and Zack Goytowski and Bliss Poureetezadi – appear to still be happily together one year later.
Tiffany expresses her appreciation for having someone who understands her, while Chelsea tearfully expresses pride in the progress she and Kwame have made over the year. However, not all relationships have stood the test of time. Paul Peden rejected his fiancée Micah Lussier at the altar, and Jackie Bonds and Marshall Glaze broke up before their ceremony could take place.
The trailer hints at lingering feelings and unresolved issues between some of the former couples. Micah admits to not knowing how Paul feels about her, while Marshall acknowledges the need for a conversation to move forward with Jackie. The tension-filled reunion promises to bring forth both closure and new revelations.
Fans of Love Is Blind can look forward to finding out whether the Pod Squad members truly move forward when the special episode airs on September 1.
