British-Nigerian artist Yinka Ilori is bringing his signature style to the skateboarding world in a vibrant new collaboration with THE SKATEROOM. This exciting capsule collection features two solo skateboards and a captivating triptych, all infused with Ilori’s bold and colorful designs.
Known for his multidisciplinary creations, Ilori is no stranger to the world of skating. In 2020, he led the design of the COLORAMA Skatepark in Roubaix, France, followed by his “Block Cubes” project in Savannah, Georgia, in 2021. Now, he’s lending his artistic vision to THE SKATEROOM, infusing the collection with themes of love, unity, and hope.
The standout piece of the collaboration is the dynamic triptych, which features Ilori’s West-African-infused patterns and motifs. With the words “You Are My World” boldly displayed across the top and “Loving You Is Easy” written on the bottom, the triptych serves as a powerful statement of love and positivity.
