Jamie xx, the British musician, has teamed up with Scandinavian homeware label Tekla for an exclusive capsule collection inspired by his highly anticipated second album, “In Waves.”
The collection includes a hooded bathrobe and a beach towel, both featuring the distinctive In Waves print. This design, characterized by psychedelic wave patterns, mirrors the album cover’s aesthetic. While this bold print diverges from Tekla’s usual style, the pieces maintain the brand’s commitment to quality with materials like twisted organic cotton fibers that ensure the bathrobe’s luxurious softness.
Tekla, known for previous collaborations with notable brands such as Artek, Birkenstock, and Stüssy, continues to expand its creative horizons while staying true to its design ethos. Their recent collaboration with Artek focused on a bedding collection, exemplifying their approach of merging innovation with integrity.
