Today’s marketing and media are all about fast-paced topics, eye-grabbing word associations, catchy slogans, buzzwords, trendy topics, and new dance moves. Fashion is no exception. We tend to see the same models and celebrities wearing the latest look on the same magazine covers while discussing the same issues. Occasionally we glimpse something new, alluring, creative, and spectacular, which makes us profoundly interested. Fashion icon Tyler Grosso is one such example. Fresh from his South Korean Fashion Week star-studded appearance, South Korean fashion brand Greedilous, known for its avant-garde designs, hired Tyler to model for their 2023 A/W Fashion Collab campaign. Later this campaign would be featured on a Billboard from April 15th to June 15th in Times Square, New York City, attracting thousands of visitors daily with its stunning visuals.
Tyler Grosso is a name that keeps appearing in various fashion circles. His dynamic, bigger-than-life personality makes him a significant demand for fashion bookings. A Modern Rockstar with a twist of New Age Glam, Tyler punches a powerful glow of radiant energy that lights up photos and videos across different campaigns he has worked on. Passionate creatives and innovators are the ones who not only survive in this industry but make their mark. Tyler is a well-experienced model who has worked with many of your favorite clothing brands, from Marni, Pleasures, and Madhappy to Off-White, Loewe, and Maison Margiela. With great magazine articles, exposés, and press coverage, this campaign was memorable for marking Tyler’s first branded exposure on a Billboard.
The 30-second looped Billboard Video of Tyler walking and posing in the streets of Seoul, South Korea, wearing Greedilous clothing, was displayed on a building across from the iconic Times Square red stairs on Broadway in NYC. The video opens with Tyler walking down a street filled with restaurants wearing an audacious white fur coat. It cuts to DDP with paparazzi taking pictures of him wearing a blue graphic-printed blazer with a matching overcoat. The video then follows with a beautiful sequence around downtown Seoul, where Tyler wears a pink fur coat adorned with plush toys strolling beside a large building. He also wears a yellow and black jacket paired with matching pants, posing on stairs, and a tan leather custom suit embellished with green and yellow graphics inside a subway station. The video was delightful to watch on a large Billboard and created the visual components Greedilous was looking for.
During the span of when the Billboard was displayed, Greedilous hired a multiple-day filming crew to take beautiful pictures and film a video of Tyler and the Billboard in Times Square. Abou Traore, CEO of Ndumbeland Films and a Creative & Editorial Photographer at Getty Images led the team. Abou’s strength is his ability to visualize and capture a moment on film. One of Abou’s tasks was producing a unique and super creative video showcasing New York City while tying in the Billboard campaign. During the filming of this video, Tyler wore five different outfits from Greedilous to create another layer of artistic imagery. The finalized photographs and video encompassed a specific type of energy that would transcend all expectations for this project–some of which are now available through Getty Images.
Overall, the Billboard was a beautifully created advertisement for the fashion brand, showcasing Tyler’s fashion model talent. A Billboard like this is a milestone in any model’s career, and we look forward to seeing much more from Tyler in the future.
