Spinnaker and seconde/seconde/ have unveiled the much-anticipated sequel to their “Fifty Phantoms” collaboration, introducing the Phantom Blue Editions. Following the overwhelming success of the initial release, which quickly sold out after its announcement last October, the new edition features a striking deep blue colorway.
Similar to its predecessor, the Phantom Blue Editions come in a robust 43mm stainless steel case paired with a unidirectional rotating bezel. The bezel boasts a hardened glass insert and is available in a dark blue or “Phantom Mist” hue.
The dial of the watch showcases 50 luminous and custom-molded ghosts, layered to create a captivating dimensional effect. In a playful nod to Blancpain’s renowned “Fifty Fathoms” model, the water resistance indication on the dial has been replaced with “No Feet,” adding a whimsical touch to the design.
Powering the timepiece is the NH38 Japanese automatic caliber, visible through a ghost-shaped rotor on the caseback. Both variants of the Phantom Blue Editions come with a simple two-stitch black leather strap and an additional perforated rubber strap for versatility.
