In 2009, Ken Block made history by becoming the first American to win the World Rally Championship (WRC). He also had success with other forms of motorsport such as rallycross and Gymkhana. Ken Block was also a passionate environmentalist who had dedicated much of his life to advocating for clean energy sources such as solar power and electric vehicles. In 2017, he co-founded EVX Ventures which invested in companies focused on sustainability solutions related to energy storage and transportation infrastructure.
