Howard Eskin, a prominent Philadelphia sports radio host, has been suspended from attending Phillies home games for the remainder of the season after allegations of misconduct surfaced. The incident involved Eskin reportedly kissing an Aramark employee at Citizens Bank Park without consent.

Audacy, the parent company of Philadelphia’s SportsRadio 94WIP where Eskin works, conducted an immediate investigation upon learning of the allegations. According to reports from The Philadelphia Inquirer, the investigation confirmed the “unwelcome kiss,” prompting Audacy to take action.

Aramark, the food service provider for Citizens Bank Park, collaborated in the investigation and substantiated the claims against Eskin. Both the Phillies organization and Aramark released statements expressing their seriousness about the matter and their support for Audacy’s decision to suspend Eskin from attending Phillies games.

The Phillies stated, “We cooperated with our partners at Audacy and Aramark on their investigations. We support Audacy’s decision to suspend Howard Eskin from Citizens Bank Park.”

Aramark also issued a statement, affirming their commitment to employee safety and working with Audacy and the Phillies to ensure appropriate measures were taken in response to the incident.

As of now, neither Audacy nor Howard Eskin has responded to requests for comment from The Associated Press.

Eskin, a well-known figure in Philadelphia’s sports media landscape, has been a fixture at SportsRadio 94WIP since its inception in 1986, playing a significant role in shaping the city’s sports talk radio and television programming.

The suspension underscores ongoing efforts to address workplace conduct issues and ensure a safe environment for all employees, reflecting a broader commitment to accountability in professional settings.
