Edgar Berlanga (20-0 16 KOs) created more momentum in the industry when he stunned everyone with his run of 16 first-round KOs from his debut in June 2016 to December 2020. This led him to attain his first pro title in October 2021, receiving the WBO NABO Super-Middleweight belt, fighting Marcelo Coceres in Las Vegas. He had even astonished everyone at the Hulu Theatre at Madison Square Garden fighting Steve Rolls and Alexis Angulo last year. Defending the WBO NABO title with unanimous decision wins over ten rounds; he achieved his world rankings.
Today, Edgar Berlanga has reached #4 with the WBO and IBF and #6 with the WBA and is expected to return to the ring in Summer 2023, looking forward to fighting undisputed Super-Middleweight champion Canelo Alvarez. “New opportunities in the form of some of the most happening multi-fights await me, and I can’t contain my excitement.
