A new documentary featuring Skepta is currently underway through a partnership with H.Wood Media. Directed by Hector Dockrill, known for his work on “Post Malone: Runaway,” the documentary marks the first collaboration between Skepta’s production company, 1PLUS1 Production, and H.Wood Group based in Los Angeles.
Set to explore themes of cultural identity and artistic expression, the documentary promises an insightful look into the life and career of the acclaimed U.K. rapper. John Terzian, Brian Toll, and Jeremy Allen from H.Wood Media, along with Dwight Okechukwu from 1PLUS1 Production, are spearheading the project.
Skepta, who recently earned the prestigious Mercury Prize and ventured into filmmaking with the short “Tribal Mark,” expressed his long-standing interest in storytelling through various mediums. Looking ahead, he aspires to create a feature-length film. Okechukwu conveyed excitement about the partnership, highlighting the collaborative potential with H.Wood Media.
