YG Entertainment has officially announced BLACKPINK’s highly anticipated comeback in 2025. The news came directly from YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun-suk in a video statement, where he also revealed plans for the K-pop group to embark on a world tour starting next year.
Details such as specific tour dates and album announcements are yet to be confirmed. This comeback will mark BLACKPINK’s first album release since “BORN PINK” in 2022.
The announcement coincides with BLACKPINK’s upcoming eighth anniversary on August 8, which will include a special “OUR AREA WITH BLINK” fan sign event. This event will mark their first public appearance together in nearly a year, as the members have been focusing on individual projects in their solo careers.
