Beyoncé surprised her fans with the release of a new song, “My House,” in celebration of the debut of her concert film Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé on Friday.
This marks the Grammy-winning singer’s first release of new music since her album Renaissance last year. Following the song’s launch, Apple Music shared on its official Instagram, “A gift from the queen for the opening weekend of the Renaissance film. Listen now to @beyonce’s new track ‘MY HOUSE.’”
It has undeniably been a bustling week for Beyoncé, with premieres of her film in Los Angeles and London, adding to what has already been a remarkable and record-breaking year for the singer.
At the Grammy Awards in February, Beyoncé set a new record as the artist with the most Grammy wins of all time. During the 2023 ceremony, she secured awards for best dance/electronic music album, best dance/electronic recording, best traditional R&B performance, and best R&B song.
In May, she embarked on her Renaissance World Tour, which became her highest-grossing tour to date, concluding in October.
Beyoncé’s concert film Renaissance chronicles the singer’s journey on her most extensive tour in support of her seventh studio album. The movie showcases behind-the-scenes footage as well as her electrifying onstage performances.
