Rihanna turned heads once again during New York Fashion Week, making a remarkable appearance at the Daily Front Row Fashion Media Awards. The “We Found Love” singer made a statement with her fashion choices, presenting the Magazine of the Year award to Perfect’s founder, Katie Grand, and senior contributing fashion director, Jahleel Weaver—who is also her stylist and the creative director of her Fenty Beauty brand.
For the event, Rihanna sported a stunning pink faux fur Alaïa coat priced at $20,130, paired with strappy Area x Sergio Rossi sandals valued at $1,550. Underneath, she wore a sheer John Galliano slip dress layered over a satin Rosamosario corset. However, it was her jewelry that truly captured attention.
The Bad Gal dazzled in an impressive array of Bayco jewels, including 11.94-carat rose-cut diamond earrings and two rings from the same collection—one featuring 3.11 carats and the other 8.46 carats. She also wore a single 3.11-carat diamond drop earring with a kite-shaped stone, totaling around 30 carats of diamonds worth over $640,000.
Earlier this summer, Rihanna showcased Bayco jewels on multiple Perfect magazine covers, including a breathtaking necklace set with 47.34 carats of cushion-cut and pear-shaped Ceylon sapphires and 35.56 carats of round-brilliant colorless diamonds.
During her speech, Rihanna praised Weaver, saying, “This evening, I’m here to present an award to someone who’s very special to me. Someone who I’ve watched grow and evolve over the years. I saw you from a fashion baby, in your fashion diapers.” She added, “I was also in my fashion diapers at the time and I’ve been privy to witness you in all of the layers, all of the things that people, most people will not be able to even experience with you.”
Following the awards, Rihanna changed into a glittering Alaïa gown and crystal-covered Amina Muaddi heels for the Alaïa show. She later switched to a brown silk wrap top and matching maxi skirt by Jawara Alleyne for an afterparty at Socialista, where she accessorized with a layered Sabyasachi necklace, diamond grills by Gabby Elan Jewelry, oversized Phoebe Philo sunglasses, and a vintage Dior Rasta purse.
