Prince William rang in his 43rd birthday with lots of love—and plenty of puppy cuddles.
On Saturday morning, Princess Kate posted a heartfelt birthday tribute on Instagram in celebration of her husband’s big day. Captured by the Princess of Wales herself, the candid photo shows William mid-laughter, joyfully surrounded by the family’s playful puppies.
Accompanying the image was a simple but warm message from Kate and their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. “Happy birthday! Love C, G, C, L, Orla and the puppies! 🐾,” read the caption, also giving a sweet shoutout to the family dog, Orla.
The birthday post comes on the heels of another touching moment shared just a week earlier for Father’s Day. In that post, two photos showed the Prince of Wales embracing his children. The first image was a posed portrait, with William’s arms wrapped around George, Charlotte, and Louis. The second captured a more playful side of the family, with the kids laughing and tumbling over their dad in a moment of carefree joy. “Happy Father’s Day, Papa (before and after!) We love you! It’s been a busy stretch of public appearances for the royal family. Just last week, they took part in the annual Trooping the Colour ceremony, honoring the monarch’s official birthday. William and Kate were joined by their three children for the grand procession and balcony appearance.
Following that, the couple also attended Garter Day. Prince William later made a solo appearance at Royal Ascot, though Princess Kate chose not to participate in this year’s festivities.
