Mr. Brainwash, whose real name is Thierry Guetta, first rose to fame with his appearance in the Academy Award-nominated documentary “Exit Through the Gift Shop” in 2010. Since then, he has become one of the most sought-after contemporary artists, known for his unique blend of street art and pop culture.
The museum, which is set to open in the fall of 2023, will be housed in a 30,000 square foot building on Wilshire Boulevard. The museum will feature a mix of Mr. Brainwash’s own works, as well as a rotating collection of contemporary art from artists around the world.

Since the film’s release, Mr. Brainwash has collaborated with some of the biggest names in the art world, including Madonna, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Michael Jackson. His works have been featured in galleries and exhibitions around the world, including the prestigious Saatchi Gallery in London.
