Louis Vuitton is once again pushing boundaries with its latest pop-up, celebrating the historic collaboration with renowned artist Takashi Murakami. The iconic French fashion house has transformed its Soho boutique in New York into a dynamic space, marking the U.S. launch of their re-edition collection. As one of seven global cities chosen for the pop-up—alongside London, Milan, Seoul, Shanghai, Singapore, and Tokyo—New York serves as the perfect backdrop for this vibrant and immersive event.

This downtown pop-up is the only location in the U.S. fully dedicated to the Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami re-edition collection. The space has been thoughtfully designed with a variety of eye-catching modules, each offering a unique experience for guests. Visitors can explore a slime green exhibition room filled with rare archival pieces from the duo’s past collaborations. A downstairs cinema room offers a nostalgic screening of Murakami’s digitally enhanced Superflat films from over two decades ago, adding an extra layer of art to the immersive experience.

The highlight of the pop-up is its gallery section, showcasing legendary pieces from the original Louis Vuitton x Murakami collections, including the Eye Love Monogram, Monogram Multicolore in black and white (2003/2005), Monogram Blossom (2003), and Monogram Cerise (2005). These timeless pieces continue to embody the creative synergy between the two forces and remain highly sought after by collectors.

In the retail area, Chapter One of the new collection is on display, featuring updated designs like the Monogram Multicolore, Superflat Panda, and Superflat Garden. For those lucky enough to make a purchase, a special token is provided, which can be used at a nearby futuristic vending machine to redeem exclusive LV x Murakami stickers, trading cards, and portable games.

The pop-up also offers a care station for customers seeking canvas cleaning, hand-painted icon restoration, or replacement parts for their Louis Vuitton pieces. As an added treat, the pop-up features a Murakami-inspired café, where visitors who make a purchase between January 10-12 can sip on specialty drinks like cinnamon cappuccinos, rooibos lattes, and vegan hot chocolate, all served in custom LV x Murakami cups.

For those looking to experience this vibrant celebration of fashion and art firsthand, the Louis Vuitton x Takashi Murakami Soho pop-up is open for a limited time at the following location:
