Premium denim brand DENHAM has collaborated with Seiko to create a striking limited-edition Seiko 5 Sports wristwatch, inspired by the concept of a “jeanmaker’s watch.” This unique timepiece showcases a blend of various indigo hues across its dial, bezel, and strap, reflecting the essence of denim craftsmanship. Notably, the 12 o’clock index features a triangular motif that elegantly displays DENHAM’s iconic scissor logo.
Crafted from durable steel, the watch has a diameter of 42.5mm and is powered by Seiko’s 4R36 caliber, an automatic movement known for its reliability. This movement offers a continuous running time of approximately 41 hours, with functions including manual winding, stop second, and day-date display. Enthusiasts can admire the intricate details of the movement through the transparent caseback, which is adorned with the phrase “THE TRUTH IS IN THE DETAILS” and co-branding elements.
Limited to just 2,000 pieces, the Seiko 5 Sports x DENHAM “Jeanmaker’s Watch” is available for pre-order now on Seiko’s webstore, priced at $430 USD. The official unveiling of this exclusive timepiece is set for November 9, 2024.
