Dan Cohen is a successful entrepreneur who has been working in the Amazon FBA automation and wholesale distribution industries for over 14 years. He is the owner and manager of two businesses, Ecom Authority, and WTE Partners, and is highly experienced in building relationships and bringing in top talent to surround himself with.
Dan’s journey to success was challenging. After college, he moved to Los Angeles and had a corporate job for 3 months before quitting because it wasn’t for him. After being introduced to someone who taught him how to start selling on Amazon, Dan started flipping over 100 houses in a 3-year period and selling on Amazon on the side. After recognizing the opportunity in the space with the marketplaces shifting online due to Covid, Dan got back into Amazon full-time and has been running a successful business since.
Dan has faced a few major obstacles in his life that he has had to overcome. These include the passing of his twin sister from cancer when he was 18 and his father from cancer 8 years later. Despite these major setbacks, Dan has stayed strong and succeeded in his business.
When asked what motivates him and what inspired him to get into the industry, Dan said that he was motivated to get started by the opportunity he saw in the space and that Amazon is the biggest ecommerce marketplace, making it impossible to avoid in today’s world.
Dan also said that mindset is everything when starting a business and that it’s important to jump in with both feet and to seek out mentorship. He claims that financial freedom means having the ability to do what you want whenever you want and that his biggest obstacle he had to overcome was dealing with the passing of his loved ones.
From Dan’s story, we can learn that success isn’t always easy and that it takes hard work and dedication to make it. It also takes the right mindset and a willingness to take risks and chances. Dan’s journey to success can inspire anyone trying to start their own business and shows that anything is possible if you put your mind to it.
