Her Yoga arm balance program brings about massive positive transformations in people, giving them the courage to follow their dreams and fly high on their yoga mats and in their lives.
There are two sets of professionals in the world. Those who believe in blindly following the roads already trodden by other established names in their industry, taking no risks and playing it safe.
And then there are those who believe in questioning the norms set by others, choosing to take the risks required to make waves and stand out from the crowd. These few rare gems across industries of the world have thrilled people with their work and have inspired them to follow their dreams in life to attain the success they desire. Serving as one of the finest examples of such pioneers in the world of Yoga is Nathania Stambouli, who set out on a unique journey to pass on the transformative teachings of yoga and personal development in an unconventional way.
Nathania Stambouli is making waves through her one-of-a-kind online school, Yogi Flight School, letting people “take flight” on their Yoga mats and harness their personal power in their life. Her much-talked-about Yoga arm balance and inversion program has helped thousands of people all over the world transform what they are capable of forever.
After spending 10 years in the corporate world as a marketing director for a wholesale company, Nathania stumbled into yoga class one day to de-stress. What she discovered on the yoga mat was nothing short of life-changing. Faced with challenging poses on the mat, she saw her feelings of unworthiness, lack of confidence, lack of self-trust and limiting beliefs show up in a big way. “I can’t do that,” and “my arms are too weak to hold myself up like that!” were not just things she saw herself say about a complicated handstand – but these were things that were stopping her in other areas of her life as well.
“I can’t quit my corporate job to start my own business,” and “I’m not qualified to do this” are thoughts that followed her around – much like they do for many of us. Stambouli very quickly saw that the limiting beliefs that showed up on her yoga mat were the same beliefs that showed up in her life. And when she conquered the fear of handstand on her mat, she found herself lit up from the inside out, ready to conquer fears everywhere else. This gave her the courage she was looking for to quit her career and start a yoga school that would aim to make a positive difference in peoples’ lives worldwide.
Nathania Stambouli has a Master’s degree in Psychology, is a 500-hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (500 E-RYT designation), a Transformational Leadership Coach who has taught over 30,000 people to arm balance in the last two years. Formerly, she owned SoulPlay Yoga studio in Los Angeles, which she pivoted from during Covid to start her online program.
When asked what her inspiration is in doing what she does, Nathania Stambouli says that it is seeing other people shift what they think about themselves that gives her life meaning. Changing people’s self-limiting perceptions from “I can’t do this” to realizing that they are competent, powerful and capable is what she lives for.
She is also inspired by each of her students, who prove over and over that nothing is impossible. Her students are breaking through fear and limiting beliefs even up to 75 years of age, defying gravity, learning ninja tricks and making incredible things happen in their bodies and in their lives – all because they decided they could.
She is on a journey to uplift people through Yogi Flight School, which offers a one-of-a-kind arm balance and inversion program teaching aspiring yoga ninjas how to practice handstands, headstands and other complicated yoga shapes, and deeply transforming their mindset and their lives in the process. Her school also offers in-person retreats and 200 & 300 hour Yoga Teacher Trainings, making it a Yoga training center that helps people fly high in every aspect of their journey.
