Kendrick Lamar has been named the top-charting artist on the Billboard Hot 100 for 2024, securing the most No. 1 hits of the year. According to ChartData, the pgLang artist achieved an impressive three chart-toppers in 2024, including the hit single “Like That” with Future and Metro Boomin, the GNX track “Squabble Up,” and “Not Like Us,” which also made waves as the best-selling song of the year in the U.S., breaking multiple streaming records.
In addition to his success on the Hot 100, Kendrick Lamar made history on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart. He claimed three consecutive weeks at No. 1 with “Squabble Up,” “TV Off,” and “Luther” featuring SZA. In total, Lamar had five songs reach the top of the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart in 2024, setting a new record for the most No. 1 hits in a calendar year.
Looking ahead, Kendrick Lamar is set to hit the road with SZA for their highly anticipated “Grand National Tour,” which will kick off in April 2025. The co-headlining tour will include 23 dates, starting on April 19 at Minneapolis’ Bank Stadium and concluding on June 18 in Landover.
