After a year of anticipation, Suicoke and Midorikawa are set to launch their distinctive faux fur-covered “FiveFingers” shoes worldwide on October 26. Following their previous successful collaborations, this release introduces new colorways that blend style and functionality. The shoes will be available at various stockists, including Suicoke’s online store and Dover Street Market locations in Ginza, Paris, and Beijing. Prices start at $310 USD for low-tops, $330 USD for high-tops, and reach up to $450 USD for the “super-hi” boots.
The latest collection, which is a third iteration of their collaboration, features playful designs inspired by Big Foot, perfect for the spooky season. The four styles include two bold options in Green and Purple, complete with painted toes, alongside low-cut versions in Ivory and Gray fur. Each shoe is equipped with Vibram’s MEGAGRIP outsole technology, ensuring they are as functional as they are fashionable.
Originally, the high-top models were priced at ¥37,400 yen ($250 USD), while the low-cut pairs were set at ¥35,200 yen ($235 USD). The initial release took place on October 18 through Dover Street Market Ginza, VELVET, and Suicoke’s official site.
