Artisans de Genève, renowned for their exceptional custom timepieces that blend artisanal craftsmanship with reverence for watchmaking history, has unveiled their latest creation: the “Heart of Namibia,” a stunning reinterpretation of the Rolex Submariner 116610.

Named after Namibia, the dial of this masterpiece is crafted from an authentic meteorite stone discovered in the region. The meteorite, painstakingly cut to a mere 0.3mm thickness, undergoes a chemical treatment to reveal its natural patterns and striations.

Adding to its allure is an in-house moon phase display set against a midnight blue aventurine sky with a mother-of-pearl moon. This complication, comprising 28 meticulously handcrafted components, showcases Artisans de Genève’s mastery in development, manufacturing, decoration, and finishing.

A new Dark Night Blue ceramic bezel insert complements the revamped color scheme, while parts of the watchcase feature laser-engraved grainy effects. The original 3135 Rolex movement remains intact but receives a customized rotor crafted from white gold and adorned with a matching meteorite insert.

The “Heart of Namibia” Submariner is a bespoke marvel, priced at 34,520 CHF (approximately $38,561 USD). Each customization project at Artisans de Genève is uniquely priced based on its complexity and specifics. For further information, visit Artisans de Genève’s official website to explore this exceptional timepiece in detail.
