Selena Gomez is embracing the early days of autumn with a stylish wardrobe update. The singer and actress was spotted in Manhattan on Tuesday as New York City’s temperatures began to dip. For her evening out, Gomez opted for a cozy little black dress from Prada that perfectly captures the season.
The twill mini features a turtleneck top elegantly tucked into a wrap skirt, fastened at the front with a striking golden paper clip. She paired the dress with sheer black Wolford tights and elevated her look with glossy sky-high peep-toe platforms adorned with ankle straps. A vibrant red pedicure added a playful pop of color to her monochrome ensemble.
In place of her usual gold hoop earrings, Gomez sported a bold pair of dangly earrings from Eriness, featuring three hoops in varying sizes. She completed her look with multiple rings and a glossy red lip.
Currently in the city for the 62nd New York Film Festival, which runs until October 14, Gomez has been busy promoting her new musical crime-comedy drama, Emilia Pérez. In this film, she stars as the wife of a Mexican drug cartel leader who undergoes gender-confirming surgery and embarks on a new life as Emilia, portrayed by Karla Sofía Gascón. This marks Gomez’s first Spanish-speaking role.
At the festival’s premiere for the movie, she wowed attendees in a black halterneck gown featuring a dramatic bow on the back and long, glovelike sleeves.
