Pureplay Entertainment has announced the opening of a new Nashville office in collaboration with music industry insiders Hannah Martin Eason and Joseph Martin, who will serve as advisors at the company. Pureplay Entertainment, founded by CEO Dan McClung in 2016, has also signed with WME for representation.
McClung expressed his confidence in the partnership, stating, “Their work ethic and passion for Nashville stories make them exceptional partners. They have an organic love for country music and a deep understanding of the industry, which is invaluable as we tell stories from this perspective to a wider audience.”
Pureplay’s latest project, “Written in the Sand,” currently in post-production, was developed out of Pureplay Nashville and features Courtney Grace and singer-songwriter J.T. Hodges in a story inspired by real events about a community being rebuilt after a hurricane. The company is also working on a country music documentary.
Hannah Martin Eason, who began her career at WME and later worked at the Academy of Country Music and the HQ, currently serves as director of communications for a venture capital firm. Joseph Martin, who previously worked at CAA, now serves as head of sales for a technology company.
