1. Thanks for joining us today Gina. To start off, what do you feel helped you most in accomplishing the success you have today as the CEO at Relive Health nationwide?
Success is never accomplished by one, it is always the result of a team effort. When choosing a team, I look for passion above all. I want people to come to work every day and love what they do to the core. I also want people who do not have boundaries in the effort or the extent they will go to in order to achieve the desired result. An environment where vulnerable trust exists and we are all there for each other. When such a team is assembled success is inevitable.
2. As a busy CEO, how do you balance your time when it comes to Relive but also your own family?
If I look back to the decades behind me, I would say I had no concept of balance. It was work, family and no time for anything else. I have no regrets because I always loved my career and the teams I worked with. During my time with Relive, my family has grown and I understand that balance is necessary for the business to succeed as well as myself. My family is my heart and will always be a priority for me, and I feel I now understand balance, and a key to that balance is to put myself first sometimes. I need to get more comfortable doing that.
3. Relive is growing at such an accelerated rate. Why have more and more people chosen to become franchise owners of it quicker than ever before?
Relive represents a health shift. People are shifting away from reactive, disease based health care towards preventative,optimization based care. Relive offers anti-aging therapies like hormone therapy, peptides, IV therapy, regenerative medicine, medical aesthetics and more. These services appeal to those who want to stay ahead of any decline. We live in a youth obsessed culture. Our society places a high value on youth, beauty and performance. Looking and feeling young is often equated with being successful, desirable and relevant. We also have a large and growing population of Baby boomers and Gen Xers who are hitting midlife and beyond. People are choosing to become franchise owners because they have a passion for what we offer and want to be a part of making that shift happen!
4. What is your number one advice to other strong females pursuing a life in business and running their own companies?
DO IT!! Remove the doubt in your mind and replace it with confidence. Ensure you have a passion for what you do, and surround yourself with like minded people. Do not try to do it alone. Be aware of the commitment involved and structure your life to be able to support that commitment and not compete with it.
5. What’s next for Relive Health from here?
We have only just begun. We have hundreds of locations to open and communities to serve. We want to allow these communities to have the opportunity to take control of their health. We want to educate and support them on their journey to become the best version of themselves!
6. If you weren’t running Relive, what would you be doing?
My head and my heart are right where they need to and want to be. I never think of doing something else because I always put myself where I want to be.
7. And finally, is there anything else you’d like to add or advise for our readers?
Make the time to educate yourself and understand the options and opportunities that exist in healthcare today. Do not relinquish that responsibility to anyone else, you own it. As we age we can and should preserve our youth, energy and vitality. We all want to live longer, but it is more important that those years are healthy ones.
