McDonald’s is introducing a delightful new addition to its menu: the Mini McFlurry. Set to debut at participating U.S. locations on September 10, this smaller version of the iconic dessert is perfect for those who crave just a touch of sweetness or want to share the indulgence with a friend.
The Mini McFlurry will be available in classic flavors such as OREO and M&M’S, as well as limited-time specials, offering a convenient and satisfying treat. Alongside the new size, McDonald’s is also making strides towards sustainability. The fast-food giant is transitioning from plastic McFlurry cup lids to eco-friendly “4-Flap” cups, a move already adopted in countries like Canada and Indonesia. This initiative supports McDonald’s commitment to using renewable, recycled, or certified materials for all primary guest packaging by 2025.
Michael Gonda, McDonald’s SVP and Chief Impact Officer for North America, emphasized the importance of these changes, stating, “Packaging updates like this matter. We’re advancing towards our sustainability goals while providing U.S. customers with a fun new way to enjoy their favorite treat.”
