Kith and Giorgio Armani have unveiled a groundbreaking collaboration featuring renowned filmmaker Martin Scorsese as the centerpiece of their latest campaign. This marks a historic first for Armani, as it is the luxury brand’s inaugural partnership with Kith. However, it’s not the first time Scorsese has teamed up with Armani; the director and the Italian brand share a longstanding friendship.
According to Kith, Scorsese and Armani’s relationship spans many years, highlighted by Scorsese’s direction of “Made in Milan,” a documentary celebrating Armani’s life and the evolution of his brand. The shared values between Scorsese, a proud New Yorker, and Kith’s founder Ronnie Fieg made this collaboration a natural choice. “We are thrilled to work with Scorsese on this collection, marking a historic moment for Giorgio Armani,” Kith stated.
In conjunction with the campaign launch, Kith is hosting a special pop-up event in New York City. The redesigned townhouse at 170 East 80th Street on the Upper East Side will open its doors on September 6-7, offering an exclusive preview of the collection before its global release. The collection will officially drop online on September 13.
