Lacoste is set to unveil an exciting capsule collection inspired by Eiichiro Oda’s celebrated manga, One Piece. This special collaboration features 7 distinct pieces that reimagine Lacoste’s classic wardrobe staples with iconic manga art.
Included in the collection are hoodies, T-shirts, a polo shirt, socks, and a cap, each bearing designs that pay homage to Oda’s unique style. The standout motif is a playful black-and-white crocodile graphic, a nod to Lacoste’s signature logo and inspired by a T-shirt worn by a character in chapter 1106 of the One Piece manga.
Originally depicted on the manga’s cover page, the character sports a white T-shirt with a crocodile motif and “LACOSTA” lettering, which has been adapted for this collaboration to align more closely with Lacoste’s own branding.
While some pieces feature Oda’s interpretation of the crocodile motif, others prominently display a monochrome imprint of chapter 1106’s cover page illustration.
The collection will be priced from ¥3,300 to ¥33,000 JPY (approximately $22 to $216 USD) and will first be available on Lacoste’s website starting August 2, with a rollout in select Lacoste stores beginning August 6. Certain items like the hoodie, socks, and cap will be exclusive to Japan and released in limited quantities.
This collaboration promises to blend the worlds of high fashion and manga, appealing to both fans of One Piece and enthusiasts of Lacoste’s timeless style.
