While the official release date for Charli XCX’s highly anticipated Brat album is still under wraps, the British pop sensation is gearing up to hit the road with her new project. Charli recently announced the initial dates for her upcoming performances in support of the LP, set to hit the stage sometime this summer.
In a clever teaser shared via a T-shirt adorned with the tour stops, Charli revealed two distinct types of shows: “live” concerts and “Partygirl” DJ sets. Following the format of her recent Boiler Room performance at Brooklyn’s Knockdown Center, which was aptly titled Partygirl and featured a DJ set with a surprise appearance by Julia Fox, Charli plans to continue this vibe for her Partygirl sets. Meanwhile, her live shows will showcase her singing talents in the traditional concert format.
The tour kicks off with a live concert in Barcelona on June 1, followed by a Partygirl set in London on June 7. Over the next week, Charli will bring her live performance to New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Wrapping up the brief run, she’ll treat fans to Partygirl sets in Mexico City and São Paulo.
Additionally, Charli delighted fans with the release of a remix of her album’s first track, “Von Dutch,” featuring Addison Rae and A. G. Cook. With more updates on the Brat LP rollout on the horizon, fans can snag their tickets for the shows online now.
