To commemorate the 60th anniversary of James Bond’s Goldfinger, Aston Martin has launched a thrilling 007-themed pop-up called the House of Q, nestled in London’s elegant Burlington Arcade. This exclusive event, open until August 4, offers an immersive dive into the world of Bond’s legendary DB5 and Aston Martin’s storied connection to the iconic film franchise.
Hidden behind the guise of a magazine newsstand at House 12-13 Burlington Arcade, the House of Q invites visitors through covert messages to a concealed door, leading to a subterranean speakeasy bar. This intimate venue, decked out with original DB5 technical drawings and parts, serves Champagne Bollinger and envelops guests in Aston Martin’s and 007’s storied legacy.
Marco Mattiacci, Aston Martin’s Global Chief Brand and Commercial Officer, shared his enthusiasm for the celebration, stating, “Aston Martin and James Bond are two British legends forever intertwined. The House of Q offers a unique way for fans to engage with this rich history.”
Beyond the bar, visitors can explore the Configurator Lab to design their own Aston Martin with guidance from brand experts. Daily design workshops and events led by Aston Martin’s design and engineering teams further enhance the experience.
Trupti Shah, Commercial Director of Burlington Arcade, expressed pride in the collaboration, saying, “We are delighted to partner with Aston Martin to celebrate this cinematic milestone in such a historic location.”
The House of Q by Aston Martin is currently open to the public at 51 Piccadilly, London.
