The label was announced on January 2016, founded by Arlington native SSG Lil Splurge and his co-founders, His mom Rachel, Houston native AyeK47 and Sensei. Each of his business partners brought a unique talent to the team connecting the dots needed to develop the slowly building their brand label across Texas one city at a time. Working with hit producers Six7 On the Beat and Beat By Jeff, they were able to revolutionize the industry bringing a new variety of production using No Melody beats and 808’s from out of this world. Eventually taking the brand to new heights able to gain global recognition, SSG made its mark as an upcoming independent record label. SSG Lil Splurge added several artists from all over to his roster including Nike Boy Meech from Ft. Worth, Lil Fat DGAF from East St. Louis, and SSG Big Juice from Chicago.
