Swatch is closing out the lunar year with a new celestial-inspired release. Just in time for 2025’s last supermoon, the brand has unveiled the “Cold Moon” edition of its popular Mission to Earthphase MoonSwatch series—arriving December 4 to coincide with the full moon itself.
This latest drop stands out with a crisp white Bioceramic case, crown, and pushers, paired with a matching white rubber strap and Velcro fastening. The opaline dial features luminous Grade A Super-LumiNova-coated hour markers, emitting a bright green glow in the dark. At the 10 o’clock position, the Earthphase indicator displays a glowing Earth whose oceans shine blue under UV light. As a playful touch, Snoopy and Woodstock appear on the Moon looking back at the planet, alongside a hidden UV-only phrase that adds a layer of storytelling and charm.
At the 2 o’clock subdial, Swatch introduces a unique moonphase complication. Two full moons—both coated in OMEGA’s signature Moonshine Gold—rotate through the display. One is illustrated in Snoopy’s iconic style, while the other features an intricate snowflake motif. Each snowflake is laser-engraved individually, ensuring that every watch is one-of-a-kind, much like real snowflakes.
The “Cold Moon” Mission to Earthphase MoonSwatch releases December 4 for $450 USD and will be available exclusively through select Swatch stores. With its winter-white palette, UV-reactive details, and whimsical Snoopy accents, the new edition continues the collection’s playful fusion of astronomy, design, and pop culture.
