“Bachelor” star Joey Graziadei recently addressed concerns from fans regarding his “yellow eyes,” revealing that they are caused by his diagnosis of Gilbert syndrome.
In an Instagram video, Graziadei explained that he was diagnosed with the condition during high school after experiencing illness for about a week and a half. Gilbert syndrome is a liver condition where bilirubin isn’t properly processed, leading to a yellowish tint in the skin and eyes.
Although his high bilirubin count initially raised concerns about liver issues, further tests confirmed Gilbert syndrome, a condition that, while affecting the appearance of his eyes, does not pose significant health risks. Graziadei assured fans of his overall health and expressed his intention to prioritize his well-being, particularly during his time on the reality show.
Acknowledging the support and concern from his fans, Graziadei emphasized his commitment to monitoring his health and taking necessary steps to ensure his well-being.
Through his candid revelation, Graziadei aims to raise awareness about Gilbert syndrome and reassure fans of his health and safety.
