Maria Grazia Chiuri returned to the Paris Fashion Week stage with Dior’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection, continuing her celebration of womanhood through the lens of Miss Dior. The sub-label, launched in 1967 to cater to a broader audience, remains a key inspiration for Chiuri’s designs.
Set against an installation by Indian artist Shakuntala Kulkarni, the collection showcased archive-inspired ensembles infused with Miss Dior’s youthful spirit. Khaki-colored suiting separates dominated the runway, featuring trench coats, double-breasted jackets, and oversized blazers paired with pleated trousers and straight skirts. The iconic black-and-white Miss Dior motif adorned various silhouettes, emphasizing the brand’s heritage and modernity.
Expanding the textile repertoire, faded washed denim made appearances alongside colorful tweed, offering a preppy yet sophisticated aesthetic. Leather pieces, including cheetah-printed layers, added a touch of luxury, while shimmering crystal-embossed dresses epitomized opulence.
The FW24 collection epitomized Dior’s timeless elegance and commitment to empowering women. Explore the full collection in the gallery above, and stay tuned for more Paris Fashion Week highlights.
