Girard-Perregaux introduces a stunning addition to its Bridges Collection with the launch of the Free Bridge Meteorite model. This 44mm timepiece showcases the Maison’s forward-thinking design and innovative technology, featuring suspended indices filled with lume that beautifully accentuates its intricate mechanical movement.
At the heart of the watch lies the GP01800-2085 in-house caliber, boasting a remarkable frequency of 28,800 beats per hour and a power reserve of at least 54 hours. The standout feature of the timepiece is its hour wheel bridge adorned with two meteorite plates sourced from the Gibeon meteorite found in Namibia. This unique material, rich in iron-nickel alloy, cobalt, and phosphorous, showcases a captivating Widmanstätten pattern, complementing the watch’s black, gray, and silver color palette.
Priced at $25,700 USD, the Free Bridge Meteorite watch will be available through Girard-Perregaux starting March. For more information, visit the official Girard-Perregaux website.
