Just ahead of its global debut at Monterey Car Week on August 13, Range Rover has revealed the latest addition to its high-performance SUV lineup: the Range Rover Sport SV Carbon Edition. Designed for those who crave dynamic performance wrapped in luxury, this new flagship model elevates the Sport SV range with cutting-edge materials and motorsport-inspired engineering.
At the heart of the SV Carbon is a formidable 635-horsepower twin-turbo V8 hybrid engine, pushing the SUV to a top speed of 180 mph. Complementing the powerhouse under the hood is a suite of precision performance features, including Carbon Ceramic Brakes and 6D Dynamics Suspension, engineered for optimal handling and control across any terrain.
Where the SV Carbon truly distinguishes itself is in its aggressive use of lightweight carbon fiber. A Forged Carbon exterior pack, Twill Carbon bonnet, and ultra-lightweight 23-inch carbon fiber wheels shave off weight while amplifying the SUV’s visual edge. These upgrades not only contribute to performance but also add to the vehicle’s assertive, sculpted aesthetic.
Inside, the SV Carbon edition exudes a sporty, cockpit-inspired atmosphere. Drivers are welcomed by Forged Carbon-backed performance seats, illuminated SV badging, and the option of leather-free Ultrafabrics upholstery. The cabin can be customized with four distinct interior themes and is accented with Moonlight Chrome detailing for a modern, polished finish.
In a first for the segment, Range Rover also brings its innovative Body and Soul Seat (BASS) technology to the SV Carbon. This feature allows occupants to feel the music through immersive in-seat audio vibration, transforming every drive into a sensory experience.
Positioned alongside the existing Sport SV and SV Black trims, the Carbon Edition signals a bold step forward for the brand’s performance luxury strategy. The Range Rover Sport SV Carbon Edition is now available to order via Range Rover’s official website and authorized dealerships.
