Porsche is turning up the heat this summer with the reveal of its sleek new Taycan and Cayenne Black Edition models—both set to debut at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed. These limited-edition variants bring a new level of luxury, performance, and personalization to two of the brand’s most iconic vehicles.
Blacked-Out, Amped-Up
The Taycan Black Edition blends cutting-edge electric performance with striking dark styling cues. It comes equipped with the upgraded 105 kWh Performance Battery Plus as standard, pushing its range up to an impressive 668 kilometers (415 miles)—a notable bump over the standard model. Visually, the Taycan is dressed in high-gloss black accents on the Sport Design package, mirror caps, and rear badge illumination.
Inside, expect premium finishes like brushed black aluminum door sills, unique storage enhancements, and a center console badge exclusive to the edition.
The Cayenne Black Edition isn’t shy either. It gets the same dark treatment with gloss-black elements on the front apron and badging, along with brushed aluminum trim throughout the cabin. Available across multiple configurations, this SUV adds a commanding presence with 21-inch alloy wheels, HD Matrix LED headlights, and comfort seats featuring embossed Porsche crests.
Luxury Comes Standard
Both Black Editions come packed with an upgraded list of features:
- BOSE Surround Sound System
- Lane Change Assist
- Expanded comfort seating
- Wide choice of metallic paints and interior color schemes
For those looking to make an even bolder statement, Porsche offers additional customization options through its Exclusive Manufaktur division.
The Taycan and Cayenne Black Editions will arrive in showrooms later this year, offering a blend of stealth styling and elevated performance that feels anything but standard.
