MCM’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection celebrates the nomadic lifestyle with the help of renowned models Cara Delevingne and Xu Meen. The duo, representing the brand’s first Mavericks, embody the spirit of digital nomadism, effortlessly transitioning between the virtual, physical, and cultural realms. The collection features ready-to-wear clothing, footwear, and luxurious leather goods designed for movement, adorned with signature Visetos and Lauretos logo motifs, with prices ranging from $135 to $2,690.
The campaign was brought to life by a stellar team of industry legends, including creative director Fabien Baron, photographer Craig McDean, makeup artist Pat McGrath, stylist Karl Templer, and hairstylist Guido Palau. Cara Delevingne expressed her excitement about being part of MCM’s new chapter, stating, “I was honored when MCM asked me to star as their first ‘Maverick’. I’ve long admired MCM for their bold and rebellious spirit, and it’s exciting to be included in their next chapter.”
In the campaign, Delevingne exudes airport-ready style in a chic hotel room setting, sporting a minimalist white dress paired with a sleek black leather jacket and white Visetos trainers atop MCM’s Visetos print suitcases and travel accessories. Meanwhile, Xu Meen showcases a range of Visetos leather pieces in neutral looks, including a cool cognac polo shirt with black trousers and puffy leather criss-cross sandals, all paying homage to MCM’s house codes. In another scene, Meen dons a black-and-white varsity jacket with matching monochrome kicks.
