Chart-topping country artist NIKO MOON has been having a very good time since breaking out as a solo act in 2019. His first single “Good Time” went #1 on country radio and his other hits continue to climb the charts as he releases more and more music, bringing a feel-good positive vibes message to all that listen.
With 2023 coming to an end, Niko is now looking ahead to “Better Days” in 2024, announcing his first new album in years (due out January 19th) and a US tour set to kick off in February.
We spoke to Niko about what is coming up and how his feel-good vibes are going to be taken to that next level with his new tracks, the first one being, Falling For You.
1. It’s been a minute since you released a full-length album. What do you feel makes this one different from the past ones?
My 2nd album, BETTER DAYS, is all about spreading the message of positivity! I’ve made positive music but I dig into the “why” on this album. Music is healing, and I hope this album can be an encouragement to celebrate this amazing life.
2. Tell us about the new single, Falling For You, and what it’s all about.
Falling For You is about the kind of love I’ve found with my wife. It’s about how you know you’ve found the “one” when everyday you fall just a little bit deeper in love.
3. A new tour is coming up in 2024 as well… Any new places you are most excited to check out that you haven’t been in the past?
I’m playing my first show in Montana and I can’t wait! Another check off the bucket list in big sky country!
4. Will your wife and baby be out on the road with you?
We are working on that right now. It’s looking like they will be able to. Cross your fingers y’all! I can’t wait to show Lily this beautiful country!
5. How do you continue to stay so positive these days, no matter what?
Life is short. We choose if we want to spend it miserable or enjoying ourselves. Finding the sweet in the sour is what life’s all about.
6. What is your advice to other artists who are trying to make it as independents?
We live in the best time ever to be an independent artist, in the most connected time in history. Be 100% yourself in your music. Be bold. Be relentless in your belief in yourself. Last but not least, stay grateful. Grateful for the gift, grateful for each person that helps you work towards your dream, grateful for every person who connects with your music and lets you be a part of their life.
