Lana Del Rey, known for her Old Hollywood romance, is the face of Skims’ Valentine’s Day campaign. The Grammy-nominated musician was captured by British photographer Nadia Lee Cohen in a variety of pieces from Skims’ collections, including the classic Velvet Lace, Fits Everybody, Seamless Sculpt, and Sleep lines, as well as the new Woven Shine range. The campaign coincides with the announcement of the 2024 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival lineup, which features Del Rey performing on Fridays of both weekends.
The Skims Valentine’s Day boutique, launching on Jan. 23 at 9 a.m. PT, will offer over 29 limited-edition lingerie and loungewear collections in a range of colorways, including ultra violet tonal, cherry blossom, neon orchid, and classic hues from sand to onyx. Prices will range from $16 for thongs to $126 for Soft Lounge sleep sets. The collection will feature cozy onesies, heart-print sleepwear, long slip dresses, push-up bras, lace camisoles, mesh underpinnings, crystal-embellished thongs, and pet apparel, alongside signature Skims shapewear from various lines.
Del Rey expressed her excitement about being featured in Skims’ Valentine’s campaign, praising the collection’s beauty and dreamy aesthetic. She also mentioned her admiration for Skims since its inception and the joy of collaborating with Nadia Lee Cohen on the creative aspect of the campaign.
In addition to her involvement with Skims, Del Rey’s ninth studio album, “Did You Know There’s A Tunnel Underneath Ocean Blvd,” released last March, earned five Grammy nominations. Last year’s Valentine’s Day collection was modeled by Beatrice Grannò and Simona Tabasco, stars of the hit series “White Lotus,” and quickly sold out.
Select Skims Valentine’s Day pieces will be available at Nordstrom, Harrods, Selfridges, and other retailers. The Valentine’s Day e-shop will open on Jan. 23 at 9 a.m. PT, offering a range of gift options, including the pieces worn by Del Rey in her photoshoot.
