British audio pioneer KEF has unveiled its latest innovation, the Muo High-Fidelity Portable Speaker, blending cutting-edge sound technology with stunning design. The new release continues KEF’s legacy of precision and craftsmanship, bringing studio-quality sound into a sleek, compact form that fits seamlessly into everyday life.
Designed by Ross Lovegrove, the Muo draws inspiration from KEF’s sculptural Muon speakers, combining art and engineering in one dynamic form. With a minimalist aesthetic and smooth aluminum curves, it’s both visually striking and acoustically powerful. The speaker is available in seven colorways, including Silver Dusk, Amber Haze, Blue Aura, and Midnight Black, each paired with matching tone-on-tone carrying straps for a personalized touch.
The Muo delivers on performance as much as it does on looks. It features Bluetooth® 5.4 with aptX Adaptive™ for high-fidelity, low-latency sound, a 24-hour battery life, and a built-in microphone for voice control. Its IP67 waterproof and dustproof rating ensures durability, making it perfect for both indoor relaxation and outdoor adventures.
To mark the launch, KEF collaborated with artists Si Xiazi, Kev Munday, and Ben Poultney, also known as Draw My Town. Each artist created artwork inspired by the Muo’s design and colors, with their pieces now displayed at the KEF Music Gallery in London, open to the public until October 25.
With the Muo, KEF continues to redefine how we experience sound — merging technology, art, and innovation into one timeless creation. It’s not just a portable speaker, it’s an object of design that delivers exceptional sound wherever life takes you.
