Dr. Dana’s journey—a breast radiologist whose powerful voice reverberates as deeply as her compassionate care—offers unexpected solace in the fight against cancer. At a cancer center, she sees women confronting fear and uncertainty; through music, she offers them reaffirmation and hope. “Not Alone”—give voice to those experiences, spotlighting emotional burden while affirming resilience.
Dana didn’t begin as a musician: she turned back to creative expression after years in medicine. Her passion was renewed by performances with The ReMissions—the cancer center’s house band following the pandemic. That first concert changed everything—patients and staff said her voice “touched them at the core.”
Since then, her advocacy has expanded. Dana speaks and sings about cancer screenings, advocacy and self-care at medical and community events. She says, “We don’t just heal bodies; we heal hearts by creating spaces where people are seen.” Part art, part therapy, her music is bridging gaps in conversations around cancer, grief, and healing.

While Dana’s rising EP and live shows attract mixed-age audiences searching for emotional truth, she has bigger plans. Working on collaborations with cancer nonprofits, musicians, and brands, she’s bringing her art to places that need it most—clinics, outreach events, support groups.
HuffMag sees the power of voice—both medical and melodic. And Dr. Dana proves that songs can be more than entertainment: they can be ministry and ministry can be music.
