What’s your full name, age and where are you from?
My full name is Jordan Royall Morris. I’m 33 years old. I was born and raised in Reading, Pennsylvania. When I was 23 years old, I moved to Jersey City, New Jersey where I then stayed for 8 years. I then moved to California for a year, and now I live in Tampa, Florida. Florida is the best state by far!
What do you do for a living?
I’m a musician and artist first and foremost, but my creativity and business goes far beyond that. I’ve self-taught myself how to do EVERYTHING.
Everything from recording and mixing, to the creation of album art, and marketing campaigns the list goes on and on.
In the past year and half, I’ve really used my ability and expertise to give back and help upcoming artists when it comes to jumpstarting their career in the right direction
What would you consider your biggest accomplishment this far in your career?
My biggest accomplishment is an accomplishment for myself, truthfully. I’m super proud of myself that I am able to do this full time and nothing else. We all have good and bad days, but I love this business too much to ever falter, as tough as it is. For the longest time in my life, I never thought I would be able to do it full-time, and for that I’m damn proud of myself.
What legacy would you like to leave behind for yourself?
The legacy I’d love to leave behind is something I’ve always preached. Never give up. Ever. Period.
And also, It is never too late to take strides towards your dream. You’re on your own timeline, nobody else’s.
Where do you see yourself in the next 5 years?
It is really hard to say where I’ll be exactly in 5 years. I didn’t think I’d make it past 30, I also didn’t think I would be living in Florida.
I hope my story inspires others and keeps them going. If my voice helps just one person, then I did my job
