Lamborghini, an Italian luxury sports car manufacturer, has launched the Revuelto, its first-ever hybrid vehicle.
A V12 engine and three electric motors are combined in the plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) known as the Revuelto.
The vehicle has a 1,800-horsepower engine with a top speed of 350 kilometers per hour (217 mph).
According to Lamborghini, it takes just 2.5 seconds for the Revuelto to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h (0 to 62 mph).
The battery pack that powers the car's electric motors can be recharged using a fast charger or a regular electrical socket.
Advanced driving assistance systems (ADAS), such as adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning, are also available on the Revuelto.
The Lamborghini Terzo Millennio concept car, which was unveiled in 2017, served as an inspiration for the exterior styling of this vehicle.
For the next four years, the corporation claims it would invest more than €1.5 billion ($1.8 billion) in electrification and other sustainability projects.
