14-Year-Old Arrested for Hoax Threats Against Pittsburgh High School

A 14-year-old kid has been detained by Pittsburgh police in connection with a slew of threats made against Central Catholic High School.

The school decided to stop lessons on Monday and Tuesday as a result of the threats that were made on social media.

Following an inquiry, authorities found that the threats were false and that neither the school nor its kids were in any danger.

Threatening acts of terrorism and other violations are among the accusations leveled against the 14-year-old suspect.

Despite the fact that many of these tactics have been successful in reducing violence, they have also sparked worries about the militarization of schools and their effects on the mental health and wellbeing of children.
