Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr feels that despite a costly loss    to the Denver Nuggets, his team               deserved to win.

According to Kerr, the Warriors put out excellent effort on both ends of     the court and played effectively.

The final score was 97-100, and       the Warriors were defeated.

Given that the Warriors are presently locked into a tight playoff    race, the setback was especially                   discouraging.

Kerr was proud of the team's    overall performance even though     he noted that the squad made           mistakes, notably on defense.

Stephen Curry, a top player for the Warriors, was out due to an injury.

Despite this, the squad put up a     valiant effort, with a number of       players stepping up to fill                     Curry's void.

Jordan Poole, who led the Warriors   with 24 points, was a noteworthy                     performer.

Poole's performance was             commended by Kerr, who noted      that he played with great vigor       and made some crucial shots.

The Warriors' loss was a setback,    but they still have a number of      games left in the regular season      to try to make the playoffs.
