Rare planetary alignment visible from British Columbia

On March 29, 2023, a rare planetary alignment took place in the sky that was visible from many locations throughout the world, including British Columbia, Canada.

The five planets Mars, Uranus, Venus, Mercury, and Jupiter were all engaged in the alignment.

The planets' orbits lined up in such a way that they appeared close to one another in the night sky, which caused the alignment.

Such an alignment last happened in 2016, and the following one won't happen until 2043.

British Columbian skywatchers were able to see the alignment by scanning the western horizon after sunset.

Jupiter was the brightest of the planets, which were seen as little, brilliant spots in the sky.

The alignment was particularly remarkable since it brought together planets that are rarely seen in the same area of the sky.

The alignment served as a gentle reminder of the size and intricacy of the cosmos.

Amateur astronomers and stargazers in British Columbia flocked to witness the event and celebrated it.

Skywatchers from all over the world were able to record the alignment in beautiful photos and videos.
