New "Scott Pilgrim" anime series coming to Netflix

Bryan Lee O'Malley, who created the original comic book series, will produce the television show.

The news was made on March 31, 2023, which also happens to be the occasion of the movie "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World10th "'s anniversary of its release.

The new show, "Scott Pilgrim: The Animated Series," will include fresh narratives established in the "Scott Pilgrim" canon.

Netflix will co-produce the show with the animation studio Powerhouse Animation, which has contributed to a number of other well-known animated series.
