A US tourist may be jailed up to 2 years for posting negative reviews of a Thailand hotel.

Following his stay at the Thailand resort, a US man continually posted negative reviews, prompting the resort to take legal action.  

US guy is dealing with up to 2 years in prison in Thailand after posting bad opinions of a motel he stayed in. He became sued through the inn below the country’s strict anti-defamation legal guidelines.

Hotel sues man after writing bad reviews for several weeks:

Wesley Barnes, who works in Thailand, published numerous opinions on distinct structures allegedly accusing the inn of “cutting-edge day slavery”. The Sea View Resort, however, stated the cruel complaint through the previous visitor became unfaithful and adverse to the motel’s reputation. The incident, which took place on the inn at the island of Koh Chang in advance this year, became seemingly precipitated through a controversy over Mr Barnes looking to deliver his very own bottle of alcohol whilst eating withinside the restaurant.
